General Questions

What is the status of my order?

Once you have placed your order, we will send you a confirmation email to track the status of your order.

Once your order is shipped we will send you another email to confirm you the expected delivery date as well as the link to track your order (when the delivery method allows it).

Additionally, you can track the status of your order from your "order history" section on your account page on the website.

Can I change my order?

We can only change orders that have not been processed for shipping yet.

Once your order is under the status "preparing for shipping", "shipping" or "delivered", then we cannot accept any edits to your order.

To make changes to your order, please reach out to support through the contact us page.

Where do you ship?

Our pre-calculated shipping options are for Australian states only. 

For shipping outside of these countries, please reach out to our support through the contact us page.

How long does it take to ship my order?

Once you've placed your order, if purchasing before 4PM, your order will be consigned same day, if ordering after 4PM, your order may be shipped on the next available business day. On checkout you will receive a freight quote timeline, please use this as guidance for order delivery times. 

Payment

What payment methods do you accept?

You can purchase on our website using a debit or credit card.

We additionally offer support for Bank Transfers, Paypal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, and Cryptocurrency payment options.

You can chose these payment methods at checkout.

Which currency will I be charged in?

All prices are displayed and calculated in AUD - Australian Dollar. 

 

Do you offer 3 or 4 times payment option?

We accept 4 times payment thank to our partner Afterpay.

You will be able to chose that payment option on checkout.

Shipping

Where do you ship?

We are able to ship most items World-wide, calculated costs as for AU locations. If you are outside AU, please contact us for a quote via the contact us page and to see if shipping is possible. 

How long does it take to ship my order?

Do you offer fast shipping?

All of our pre-calculated shipping rates are standard delivery times, if you require express, please contact us to see if this is possible. 

How can I track my package?

What if I'm not home?

If you're not home, a new delivery will be performed the next day or the delivery partner will reach out to schedule a new delivery date depending on the state and delivery method you choose.

You may also have to go to your local post office to collect your package in case it cannot be delivered to you.

Will I pay taxes for international shipping?

Most countries will have to pay custom taxes for any imported goods.

Our delivery partner will handle the clearance and will invoice you in local currency for the duties and taxes linked to your order.

Returns

Do you accept returns?

Yes, all of our mechanical and electrical goods are covered by a standard 30 day warranty.

We do accept returns in respect to the following conditions:

 

  • The item must have been sold on our online store
  • The item is not as described
  • The item was sold as working but arrived DOA



No returns will be granted for;

  • Change of mind
  • The item shows signs of having been installed, scratched, damaged or modified beyond what the advertisement shows
  • If it does not suit your purpose
  • If it does not fix your problem


Contact must be made within 30 days of receipt of the item, if we decide to issue a refund or exchange the item must be returned to our Melbourne location within 14 days of contact.

All shipping charges will be incurred by the buyer for returned items.

Can I exchange an item?

We do accept exchanges and they follow the same conditions as returns

In order to ask for an exchange, please mention that you would like your item to be exchanged with another item when preparing your return with our support.

 

How long does it take to process a return?

Returns are confirmed within 2 business days of receiving the package at our warehouse.

Once your return is accepted, the reimbursement, exchange or credit will be issued within 1 business day of our services accepting your return.

 Do you have physical stores?


Yes, you are welcome to inspect / purchase any item you see on our store from our warehouse in Braeside, VIC.

We are open from 9am till 5:30pm Monday to Friday.

Is there a warranty?


At Import Nation a large selection of our parts are used items, so please keep this in mind when purchasing.

We take great care in analysing the condition of each item and representing it well through pictures and the description given.

Please realise that some items may contain the following defects in conjunction to what is pictured/described as they are used, not new.

Marks, Cracks, Scratches, Paint Blemishes

 

We guarantee any of our product sold by us and sold through our online store to be free of defect other than what is listed in the advertisement, or from normal use for a used item. 

We would gladly accept any return or exchange request resulting from a defective item granted they respect the following conditions:

  • The item must have been sold on our online store
  • The item is not as described
  • The item was sold as working but arrived DOA
  • Return request is made within our 30 day warranty period.
